Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: The highest polling turned in Jaisalmer district (76.57%), followed by Dholpur (74.11%), Jhalwar (73.37%), Pratapgarh (73.36%), and Baran (73.12%).

The lowest polling was recorded in Pali (60.71%), Sirohi (63.62%), Jalore (64.10%), Jodhpur (64.32%), and Udaipur (64.98%).

Constituency wise- Highest in Alwar\’s Tijara with 80.85%, the lowest was seen in Pali\’s Sumerpur with 57.81%.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: Amid ongoing voting for the state assembly elections, incidents of stone pelting have been reported near Bochiwal Bhawan, Fatehpur Shekhawati in Sikar, and heavy police deployment has been initiated.

Regarding the stone pelting, Fathepur DSP Ramprasad said, \”There has been stone pelting among some people after a verbal clash. Some people have been disbursed, and some people have been detained. We will take strict action. The polling is underway but this place (of clashes) is away from the polling booth. There is no hindrance to voting… Those who have not cast their vote yet should go and vote. Security would be provided for everyone.\”

The voting is scheduled to take place till 6 pm today.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra arrived at a polling station at Mahatma Gandhi Government School in Jaipur district to cast his vote for the Rajasthan Assembly elections on Saturday.

Speaking to the media, the Governor mentioned that both he and his wife had exercised their voting rights. He urged the citizens of the state to engage actively in the voting process.

\”I appeal to everyone to take part in voting peacefully,\” said Kalraj Mishra.

Rajasthan Assembly Elections Polling LIVE Updates: Former Congress MP Manvendra Singh, accompanied by his wife Chitra Singh, reached a polling station in Mewa Nagar within the Barmer district to cast his vote on Saturday, news agency ANI reported.

The son of the late BJP leader Jaswant Singh, Manvendra Singh\’s father held significant positions in the NDA Cabinet and served as a member of both Houses of Parliament throughout his life.

In the ongoing Rajasthan assembly elections, Manvendra Singh stands as a Congress candidate in the Siwana Assembly constituency. Opposing him, the BJP has nominated Hameer Singh Bhayal for the Siwana seat.

“I don\’t think that any person, particularly if he/she is in the political sphere should use such a language. New voters are watching what their leaders are doing,” Raje was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

The BJP has submitted a complaint to the Election Commission of India regarding a tweet from Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today. The party urges the Commission to instruct the social media platform \”X\” to promptly suspend his account and expeditiously remove the aforementioned objectionable content. Additionally, the BJP calls upon the Commission to direct the Chief Election Officer of Rajasthan to file a criminal complaint and initiate legal proceedings against Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier today, a disturbance ensued at a polling booth in Churu as voting commenced. A polling agent claims that he was assaulted by a group of 4-5 individuals, resulting in minor injuries.

Rajasthan\’s voter turnout till 11 am was 24.74 per cent. It was the highest in Dholpur (30.25%), Hanumangarh (2916%), Baran (28.91%), and Ganganagar (28.22%). Whereas, the lowest turnout was in in Udaipur (21.07%), Rajsamand (21.98%), Jodhpur (22.58%), and Dungarpur (22.82%).

Gourav Vallabh, Congress candidate from Udaipur, said, “10 per cent voter turnout till 9 am is a big thing because generally, polling gathers pace after 9 am. Soon, there will be long queues outside polling booths. And if voters are excited, then this means that they will vote against the sitting MLA (Gulab Chand Kataria, BJP).”

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot casts his vote in Sardarpura assembly constituency

“People are very excited here. They are very smart and they know whom they should vote for,” says RLP leader Hanuman Beniwal.

Voter turnout was 9.77 per cent until 9am. The highest percentage was in Baran (12.97%), Dholpur (12.66%), and Hanumangarh (12.01%), while the lowest in Dungarpur (6.76%), Barmer (7.90%), Dausa (8.93%)

Rajasthan minister Dr. Bulaki Das Kalla in Bikaner speaking to ANI said, \”Congress won in Rajasthan in 1980 assembly elections, then in 1985 also the party won in the state. Like 1985, Congress will again win and repeat government in Rajasthan.\”

BJP MP and candidate from Sawai Madhopur, Kirodi Lal Meena says, \”There is great enthusiasm among people for voting. People are voting happily in this biggest festival of democracy. There is one thing though, voting is slow. Several places do not have proper electricity arrangements. So, I have requested the District Election Officer to make proper arrangements for electricity and increase the pace of voting…\”

The polling percentage till 9 am in Rajasthan was 9.7 per cent.

Speaking on CM candidate if Congress retains power, chief minister Ashok Gehlot\’s brother Agrasen Gehlot said, “He (Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot) has spent his entire life for the welfare of the people and country. The party (Congress) wanted him to be a national level leader, but he wants to work for his city and the state. People should think about it.”

Congress leader Gourav Vallabh casts his vote in Udaipur. \”The voters of Udaipur are with us. Our priorities are to generate employment opportunities for youth, double tourist footfall, and strengthen the mining industry among others.\”

BJP MP Subhash Chandra Baheria and his wife Ranjana Baheria arrived at a polling booth in Bhilwara on a two-wheeler to cast their votes.

He said, “This is the festival of democracy. Every voter should exercise their franchise. Every vote is a symbol of truth, justice, harmony and good governance. With this vote good governance or terrorism comes, truth or lie comes, justice or injustice comes. So, every individual should exercise their right to vote…It seems clear that BJP will come and Congress will go…”
